His main participations were in the Pan American championships in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, and in the World Championships of 2002, 2003 and 2006, boasting the title of three-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion. In addition, he had several successful participations in Brazilian and foreign championships, such as vice-champion at ADCC (ABU DHABI COMBAT CLUB) USA in 2000. Champion of the ADCC Brazil 2007 and in July 2017, Café beat the North American fighter Ricco Rodriguez in the legendary fight in the heavyweight category at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship in Tokyo, Japan.

In addition to this extensive successful experience and also from the MMA fights in the UFC, Café has selected for RealKombat several techniques of Jiu Jitsu applied exclusively to MMA. As it is known, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu covers a wide range of punches and guards from a personal defensive style to sporting Jiu Jitsu practiced with kimono and “submission (no gi)”.

With these diverse techniques, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has imposed itself on the real world of martial arts being considered nowadays essential for the good performance of the fighters. Here it will be shown in an objective way all the necessary knowledge for a successful participation in MMA fight competitions.
